The Teaching Booth – a superb reading list of books children should read by the time they leave primary school
The Mum Educates- this website has some brilliant resources and includes great suggestions for Educational Magazines. Some of these publications are brilliant and are great for reluctant readers. Phonics Play- used by KS1 teachers across the country, this fun and engaging website will support children learning their phonics. Vocabulary Ninja- list of words to work through each day, with extra grammar challenges included. The Grammar Monster- meet the not-so-scary grammar monster and put all your SPAG fears behind you! Pobble 365- every day there is a new image to inspire and stimulate writing.
The Book Trust - an inspirational website which includes superb reading lists, a book finder and tips for reading.
Maths
Corbett Maths- a great little website with 5-a-day maths challenges, videos and worksheets.
Maths with Parents- this website aims to encourage parents to support their children’s maths learning at home. My Mini Maths- a treasure-trove of maths resources and worksheets. The Maths Factor- featuring Carol Voderman, this website contains thousands of maths sessions. Coolmath4kids- hundreds of exciting maths games to keep learning interesting. I Love Maths Games- free maths games and puzzles. Math is Fun- step-by-step guide to a range of different maths topics.
Maths Frame- an incredible website for teaching maths. Hundreds of worksheets and interactive games.
Maths Zone- tips, tricks and games to help develop maths skills.
Times Tables Apps- Squeebles, Mr Thorne’s Times Tables Terra and Times Tables Rockstars

The Oxford Owl- a site full of resources and teaching materials, including spelling lists, reading schemes and times tables tips. BBC Bitesize- one of the most popular education websites on the internet. Suitable for learners of all ages. Wonderopolis- a really cool website full of interesting wonders and questions. Use it to start off debates and discussions! Twinkl- another staple of primary school education, this website contains thousands of worksheets, planning and guidance. Primary Resources- a website packed with worksheets and homework. Learning Games for Kids- crammed full of educational games. Khan Academy- an incredible free platform, packed with resources and guides for all learning levels. Crickweb- a huge resource of online resources and games. Spellzone- an excellent website with spelling lists, tips and tricks. Everyschool- a website which collates excellent websites and resources for parents and teachers.
Oak Academy- an amazing website which gives teachers and families access to educational materials.
